Since posting this, I have had numerous voters and reporters reach out and predict that @MazzeiMike is going to run a @JoeBiden basement-style campaign. They’re probably right because the more voters KNOW Mazzei the more the voters will say NO Mazzei.

Before I began my race for HD36, my close friends, my family and I decided that if a win wasn't in the cards, it was time for me to retire from politics and public life. This is not sour grapes, or a temper tantrum, this was a thoroughly conscious decision based on the fact that I have worked for nearly 20 years to advocate FOR liberty and AGAINST tyranny, often in the face of great odds, often at my own emotional, physical and financial expense. I'm tired - and beyond that - my family are tired. They're tired of being pushed out of 2nd place by my near-constant devotion to political education and advocacy and I owe it to them to give them the attention they deserve for however long I have left on this planet. Sadly, the recent, sudden heart attack death of a friend younger than me, helped take the wind out of my sails and put the exclaimation point on this plan. Over the years I've watched as, one by one, the friends with whom I began my activist career, have quit. Some have disappeared altogether, a few have passed, some have gone on to care for grandkids, or elderly parents, and some have traveled and just plain enjoyed life. Now, it's time for me to turn my attention to my farm, my family, and my friends, and give them the time they deserve - the time I haven't given them over the last 17 years. It will be interesting to see where the Lord takes me and what my next adventure will be, but He never ceases to surprise me or remind me that my plans are not always His. 📷 I've entirely LOVED getting to know you! There are so many great people in Oklahoma and I've been more than blessed to know so many of them! I so appreciate all of you who have watched and shared the podcast and who have encouraged me through my research and reports. I SINCERELY could not have done any of it without you! You - and my kids - have been the reasons for any of the work I've done that made any impression at all. I will be pulling down all the media associated with the ROPE Report excepting the website and our YouTube Channel before Monday of next week (6.22.26). I do think people who might consider running for a political seat could use at least some of the information I've documented there.
