The best mornings are spent in schools! Thank you @RepEspaillat for collaborating with us to bring a $1.5M soccer field to @PS28Library Education is a wholistic experience, and the students learned about civic engagement through their advocacy for this project.
Such a wonderful way to kick off this morning with students of PS 28 in my district to deliver $500,000 in federal funding to build a new soccer field at the school. Thank you Councilmember @CnDelarosa for matching my funding for this project to help bring it to fruition. And special recognition to @PS28Library and administrators who work tirelessly to help students thrive!
