Long read, but please like/comment/repost to your network 🙏🏻 For years I have been connecting startups and investors through a mixture of my public speaking and media work as well as 25000 of you on LinkedIn. If you have ever wanted access to promising startup investments but either didn’t know where to start or didn’t have $10k, $20k, $50k to invest as a business angel, I am excited to invite you to join my European Emerging Tech investment syndicate. A syndicated investment groups individual investments (a minimum of 1000€ in this case) into one single larger investment for the startup. This makes it easier for the startup to manage while providing access to “smaller” investments from people that aren’t institutional investors. In order to make it easy on you, you can follow the community updates through a dedicated newsletter, the WhatsApp discussion group, and/or the Telegram community…however you prefer to stay connected. While the syndicate will focus primarily on web3, AI, and sustainable development-focused startups, one benefit to running a syndicate instead of a fund is that I can work with any startup that interests my network. Current and upcoming investments are: – a leading security solution for professional investors investing into cryptoassets that includes a best-in-class hardware wallet and account recovery solutions – a startup leveraging AI and machine learning and mobile-phone powered eyescans to prevent fatigued and substance-impaired employee accidents – a startup democratizing access to investment-quality wines and champagnes – a direct-to-consumer (D2C) startup providing organic, fresh meals for dogs with a 60 day shelf life and $2 per day cost (and it’s sustainable) – an industrial agricultural business automating the insect protein production process The syndicates are run on Uniborn, an Estonian startup that is building AngelList for Europe. It is free to download the app and join the syndicate (no silly membership or application fees) and there is never any obligation to invest in any of the deals. – The minimum investment into a deal is 1000€. – Pretty much anyone from anywhere in the world can invest. – If you are American or Canadian, you do not need to be an “accredited” investor.
