@TiWindisch How do you think they get the available roster spot? Especially if we assume they are signing Dieng. Waive Nance and Harris? Attach a guy with Herro, Kuzma or Turner when trading them?
English

The Bucks have a full MLE available to them and can go after talented players. Whether they’re Bucks for life from here on out or trade assets later, at this point in the build you want to use every possible tool to add value. This MLE is a worthwhile tool.

@TiWindisch I don’t see why the Bucks would be going after any free agents?
English

dieng only comes back if they think ament is a 4
horstGOD@WeDogz21
@Shafftybro2 Dieng is coming back. Waiving Gary harris will prob happen at some point. Dont love KPJ sitting in front of kas

@Bucks_Breakdown Sure, but they did light money on fire with Livingston last year. And what was their plan with handing out all those player options?
English

I get the thought. The Bucks went into camp last year with essentially 16 NBA contracts and ended up cutting Chris Livingston to keep both Ajax and Coffey but i just don’t see them cutting multiple mins. That’d be lighting money on fire and I just don’t see them doing that.

@Bucks_Breakdown get harris and prince gone

@YossiGozlan Jovic’s trade value has never been more important as it is today

Miami Heat salary cap situation with Andrew Wiggins opting in, Pelle Larsson opted in, Dru Smith guaranteed, and Jahmir Young opted out.
They have $20.5 million under the hard cap to fill five roster spots.
It'll be much harder to re-sign Norman Powell without additional moves.

Jake Fischer@JakeLFischer
Miami Heat swingman Andrew Wiggins has opted in for his $30.2 million salary this 2026-27 season, sources say.

@Kninemusic @BucksLead Well I don’t want to extend him, so I want to get something for him rather than nothing. That’s mainly what it comes down to.
English

@PodDDB @BucksLead There is nobody on this roster that has done the things Herro has done in the league so far.. A starter for a top notch coach.. 50 PLAYOFF GAMES!! 1,530 playoff mins.. Avg 14 in the playoffs.. Finals experience.. All Star.. 20ppg at 26 years old. You want to trade that for what?
English

Rollins is the Bucks best player and he’s young. Obviously he should start. Burries and Jakucionis both should get significant playing time to develop and hopefully they become really good players within a couple years. I would rather keep KPJ and have him come off the bench than have Herro start and be taking 30+ mpg. You pretty much have to get rid of Herro or KPJ. Herro is an expiring and he’s going to get a big next contract - I don’t see any reason to stick with him.
English

@PodDDB @BucksLead What young guys? We dont even know if burries is good yet
English

@Emilio_Watts @BucksLead He’s hurt a lot, he’s a bad defender, and he is going to cost a lot
English

@FearTheBrown Poole for Turner and Rollins is legitimately hilarious
English

@LegionHoops He isn’t the first to do this after winning a championship. It’s what most (all?) owners would do with the current rules
