@PeteHegseth To be fair, the USA pleaded for weeks for the Iranians to uprise against their oppression, and we have seen no fruition to date.

President Trump delivered a powerful speech tonight. He was clear about our objectives in Iran:
• Destroy their weapons factories
• Destroy their navy
• Destroy their air force
• Destroy their chances of ever having a nuclear weapon
The President’s leadership sends a message to the world that the United States will defend its people and its interests, and uphold peace through strength.

$OXY
Setting up just as I described...
With momentum building towards an end to the war soon, $OXY & all of oil has cooled off a little bit setting us up for a perfect wave 4 as long as everything goes to plan.
The Strait of Hormuz is the biggest issue right now, and if it doesn't open fully soon we can see oil elevated for a little longer.
$OXY almost extended to the 2 fib and we are now 8% off of the highs.
If we get our wave 4 soon look between $48 and $53 for an entry

$OXY Just .65 cents off of hitting our Wave 3 target. This name let alone the whole energy sector has been on a tear this year so I'm expecting some cooling down, and we may be getting that very soon. $OXY is -2% in overnight trading amid the rumors of a possible agreement between US/Israel & Iran. If the war does in fact slow down or stop this would set up perfectly to give us our Wave 4 for $OXY... funny how that works huh. Regardless, this chart has been absolute textbook, I suggest trimming some profits if you didn't already if you want to play the subwaves

So they're not a threat but also we're going to hammer them hard and need to do another few weeks of work but also we're not going to open the straights which is the largest pain point and negotiating leverage Iran has.

Unpopular opinion: buying “dying” companies at 3x earnings beats buying “amazing” companies at 50x earnings almost every time.
Here’s why:
At 50x you need perfection. Forever.
One bad quarter. One new competitor.
One rate hike.
You’re down 40%.
At 3x? The company can literally be in decline and you still win.
Because when things get so cheap they just need a little good news to go up.
Expectations are priced in. Pessimism is an asset.

Ok, Jamie: Let me clear things up for you.
If my 5% wealth tax on billionaires was enacted you’d owe $135 million more in taxes & a family of 4 making $150,000 or less would receive a $12,000 payment.
Oh, and you’d still be worth more than $2.5 billion. Seems pretty fair to me.

I despise most everything about Ackman the person, the figurehead, the tweeter.
But to put him in the Wood-world is idiocracy.
He is great at depending on his people who are absolutely brilliant to value companies.
Concentrated portfolios are going to lag short-term.

Yesterday was the biggest 1-day drawdown in my portfolios history on the back of $META. Down 10% YTD. I now have my first paper loss on META since I opened my position in September 2024. Not sweating it. Just patiently waiting for a buy sign.
