Updated my Loading Screen World with the new Update! Was able to make caves look better, fix the spacing on my village assets, and fix Kweebecs not spawning! While I made the cave openings using math, I'll definitely consider making prefabs next time #Hytale #HytaleModding

Here's some of the behind the scenes of creating the logo! 1. Base "Blocking" 2. Shadows! Makes it really pop in 3D! 3. Texturing, no shadows 4. An alternate version with the Ascent warped towards the Wormhole! I'm no artist but have had to dip my toe being a solo game dev 😅

@RedstoneEngine0 Yes but it quickly becomes too much and I need to stop myself using all the colors available 🤣 And btw for this project my biomes and global heightmap are mainly based of the model you showed in your videos, it was really helpful thank you for that!

@thehotlineguy Yes! It's world gen with some minigame elements combined so as soon as whoever you invite joins the world, you can start. But also I guess you could technically live there as well 😅 Pave your own path

Got the second biome done for a world based on the Hytale Loading Screen! Went a lot faster than the first biome as I'm getting used to all these advanced nodes! Now all I need is the skewed mountains on top with shading! #Hytale #HytaleModding #WorldGenV2

Hytale WorldGen V2 Journey [Day 6] - As I mentioned yesterday, I will be focusing on Density for a while. - As a start, I have begun to understand Curve and “learn” what results I will get under what conditions. This site is extremely valuable at the beginning. codepen.io/Xaph/full/zxBZ… - I still can't control it completely, but at least I can make it look decent to a minimum level. - Since the props will change in the new patch, I'm not focusing on that part much anymore and am concentrating on Density, which is my priority. Under normal circumstances, I would have set aside 3-4 days, but it seems I need more. - I'm open to all information about Density, and if you want me to bombard you with questions, please DM me.

All of them are currently in my notebook thank you so much. ❤️ So the reason my node tree got this long and were reinforced one after another with mix-min-max-min is, for example: 1. in stage (mix) “Which biome am I in?” 2. in stage (min) “let's extract the riverbed from this biome” 3. (max) “Let's add special rocks to the riverbank” 4. (min again) “Now let's pass caves through all of them” 5. (sum) “Let's add the final touch and add texture” Is that how it works? I hope my conclusion is correct. (Yes, the order is different in the image below lol)

@Olegro_ @HytaleModding An example of my own: I wanted to add river overhangs so I started with a top land heightmap, the river heightmap, and an inversed overhang heightmap. Min: Top + Overhang ->Carved out top overhang Max: Carved overhang + River ->Final heightmap Hope this helps! Wrote it quick

@Olegro_ @HytaleModding For 3D: This is where min and max are very useful! Max is where you want to combine 2 3D noise maps and min is where you want to combine air blocks from 2 3D noise maps. So as you said, a cave mapping uses min so the air blocks from the Cave noise carves into the main noise ...
