Throughout 20 years of representing Northeast Ohio, I brought back over $1.5 billion of my constituents’ tax dollars to build businesses, grow jobs, and strengthen communities. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished together. It was an honor and privilege. Thank you.

While no amount of federal funding can replace the lives lost and sacrifices made by this community for its decades of service toward our nation, this funding will ensure the children of Pike County receive a quality education in a safe environment. This work must continue.

I also want to thank Senate Energy and Natural Resources Chairman @Sen_JoeManchin for coming to this community, seeing the hardship, and taking up this cause.

NEWS: After years of hard work and advocacy, I am thrilled to announce that we have secured $20 million in funding available for a new middle school in Pike County, Ohio.

🚨 ANNOUNCING: $19 MILLION for all 15 community projects I secured in Congress for Northeast Ohio. That’s $19 million to support hardworking Ohio families, create good-paying jobs, invest in our local law enforcement, and build a better future for our kids.

BREAKING: The Youngstown Air Reserve Station has been selected as the preferred location for eight new C-130Js. Proud to have worked with @SenSherrodBrown to secure this major win — a massive $800 million investment — for Northeast Ohio and our men and women in uniform.

President Zelensky and the people of Ukraine have shown unbelievable strength and resilience against Vladimir Putin’s murderous regime. The United States must continue to stand strongly with our European allies to provide Ukraine with the resources needed to defend freedom.

Ten years ago today, 20 children and six educators left for school at Sandy Hook Elementary and never came home. We must continue to honor their lives with action to end gun violence.

For 386 years, members of the @USNationalGuard have helped keep our country safe — responding to local disasters, providing humanitarian relief and serving overseas. Today and every day, we celebrate the brave men and women who serve our nation in the Guard.

Today I was proud to cast my vote to protect marriage equality. Our nation was founded on the principle of freedom for every American — regardless of who they love. It’s time we enshrine this right into federal law.

Remembering all those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation — 81 years ago today at Pearl Harbor.

On January 6th, the courageous men and women of @CapitolPolice were our only line of defense between a violent mob and the United States Congress. Grateful to see their bravery honored today. We must never lose sight of the debt of gratitude we owe these heroes.

Today marks 67 years since the Montgomery Bus Boycott began — a critical milestone in the fight for equal rights. We must never forget the courage of those who stood for justice and equality and remember the work we have left to achieve a more perfect union.
