Sharon stone revealed that she told her doctor to remove both breasts if it was cancer, her husband got up and walked out of the room…..and that was the end of their marriage.
@svgdreamer@GigaBasedDad Living in more free country (=many types of transportation to choose from) vs living in country with less freedom being forced to cars
@RomanaFirst@GigaBasedDad Ah I see your a leftist ideologue. Lets end this here because people like you seem to think freedom comes from government rather than from being left alone. We are never going to agree and I am not going to continue arguing with someone who thinks being livestock is freedom.
@svgdreamer@GigaBasedDad You mean those ars that were not safe during collisions and got air quality so bad that many people died or had lifelong complications? Genius idea, less people on this planet the better for the enviroment
@svgdreamer@GigaBasedDad And again-no freedom to choose or right to roam. You have much less freedoms than you think you do (and if you bring up guns-czechia has right to have firearms in our constitution too)
@svgdreamer@GigaBasedDad Costing money, your health (and health of people around you due to lower air quality and lack of movement) and environment...not sure slowly making USA uninhabitable place is the flex you think it is
@RomanaFirst@GigaBasedDad Well luckily for us people who think like you are very uncommon and we grow up wanting a car and get one as soon as we can.
I like how the US does it we maximize freedom in things. Yes it does cost money but its better than being livestock.
@svgdreamer@GigaBasedDad And pretending like modern cars (all new cars are moving computers) can't be controlled by company that manufactures it or government is so naive. It's actually quite cute you believe that
@svgdreamer@GigaBasedDad Also acting like you can't go of road on your feet or bicycle lol. Also you can't really go of road in majority of places without risking getting shot dead-USA has no right to roam
@svgdreamer@GigaBasedDad You act like we don't have cars. We do have them but often don't use them on day to day basis-there is no need for that as there are healthier and more convinient alternatives
@RomanaFirst@GigaBasedDad Yes everything is controlled and you are corralled into your cities where the owners of the human livestock can shut things down and decide how you live any time they want. Heck these days they can control that at an individual level. There is no freedom in that system.
@svgdreamer@GigaBasedDad More freedom of movement (that combines well with the right to roam that USA lacks), better safety (as only professional drivers drive), health benefits (you are moving more), reducing greenhouse gasses and better local economy which lead to better national economy.
@svgdreamer@GigaBasedDad And here cars mean you are dependent on where you can park. You can walk, cycle or use bus, tram, trolleybus, metro, train or plane. No need to plan anything, no worries about parking, if the gas tank is full or the car will break down.
@GlobalBoxOffice its also not played in maority of theatres in my coutnry and those who do play it its dubed-not like 99% of htem oveis where you can choose original with subtitles or dubing and it is played at 1pm only(and only once a day).I would love ot go watch it but I will wait for streamig
MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE dropped -71% domestically on its second weekend.
With a budget of nearly $200M, it is now tracking to become one of biggest box office bombs of all time.
@clyphia@madison_tayt I´m just comparing what part of my family living in the USA gets in bakery versus what I can get in a bakery in EU (they moved to Canada last year so my info can be a little bit outdated). Normal bread is fresh for 2-3 days...not a week or a month
@RomanaFirst@madison_tayt Funny enough work with food, which is a bit were my anger came from because I swear the amount of Europeans who bring up the bread thing actually annoys me since we do have bakeries! Like I can walk over and get a really nice sourdough. Maybe not the best since I'm poor but still
you guys HAVE to stop playing dumb with our food.
i hate to break it to you but the US does in fact have good food. A LOT of it. we don’t eat mcdonald’s for every meal.
trying to claim otherwise is wrong but also is genuinely rooted in racism and classism.
@clyphia@madison_tayt USA has category crustacean shelfish(shrimp, crab lobster) but does not have separate category for mollusc(musscles, snails, squid, clams, oysters)-with the amaunt of people alergic to these aquatic animals it is stupid not to separate them and just reduce avalible food to people
@RomanaFirst@madison_tayt I have seen gluten. But never the celery, mustard, or lupin so they should start mentioning those imo. Shellfish is mention and usually it's just nuts in general
@clyphia@madison_tayt dont worry about it-I wasnt pleasnt to begin with(I´m tired too).I hope rest of your shift goes by quickly so you can get some food and rest.not alowing empolyees to eat is crazy(unless it is something like drug manufacturing, work with dangerous chemicals or something like that)
@RomanaFirst@madison_tayt Also let me step back a second and apologize, I got way too upset over that first response so I apologize ahead of time if I'm coming off overly rude, I am just mad, frustrated, and hungry (it's busy at work and I don't get a break because bs policy)
@clyphia@madison_tayt moluscs(not gruped with shellfish), celery, mustard, lupin (pastries), sulphates (some nuts)
also USA marks wheat as alergen but wheat product doesnt have to contain gluten (=can be used by gluten intolerant people). labeling gluten in food is mich more precise like EU does
@clyphia@madison_tayt ok so why does the USA allow so many things not to be labeled? I already listed what are labeling rules that differnt usa vs eu? why even such basic stuff like alergens there is only 9 listed when eu does 14? why not work on tightening labeling and requiering more like EU?
@RomanaFirst@madison_tayt I didn't bring up the banned suff, I only brought up labelling because I can see the stuff and hear it is often misunderstood, and always see European parroting the same crap again and again that is usually wrong. Sorry that I had the gull to try and talk about shit I love with
@clyphia@madison_tayt you do relize we travel right? and traveling to a country allowing stuff that are banned in the rest of the developed world...pointing out what is wrong, what are the results of eating it and how it works elshwere are a first step towards americans voting for change
@RomanaFirst@madison_tayt Infact if I want to point out anything I hate how Europeans talkabout us food like y'all gotta deal with this crap in the slightest, or even been in the country and actually read the back of stuff. Instead it's people dick measuring on twitter about "my food is better and go die"
@Wintery_Lane@sedric_andre@Fiances_ honestly I owuld go a little bit further- one test right after birth (to confirm parenthood) and one after leaving the hospital (to make sure they are leaving with the right baby-there had been some misteakes even in best hispitals and when you already do testing this would help)
@sedric_andre@Fiances_ I would vote for mandatory DNA testing at birth. I am a woman and I think lying about paternity is evil. Now, can men stop saying “not all men” under posts where we are discussing femicide and/or abuse?
I don't understand the “not all men”logic. If you're not one of those men, then why are you fighting us instead of standing with us? If it's really not all men, shouldn't you be supporting women instead of getting defensive?
