@GuntherEagleman No one said there wasn’t outreach. IRAN said they were not negotiating with the U.S.

BREAKING: CNN just confirmed that their own reporting is absolute HORSESHlT after they spent nearly the entire day yesterday accusing Trump of lying about Iran talks. "We're now learning from a senior Iranian source that there has been an outreach between the U.S. and Iran."

@KobeissiLetter Three senior Iranian sources told Reuters the countries negotiating position has hardened significantly since the war has begun: -Guarantees against future military action -Compensation for wartime losses -Formal control of the Strait of Hormuz -No limitations on missiles

BREAKING: An Iranian source tells CNN that there has been "outreach" between the US and Iran and that Iran is willing to listen to "sustainable" proposals to end the war. “Iran is not asking for a meeting or direct talks with the US but is willing to listen if a plan for a sustainable deal comes within reach that would preserve the national interests of Iran,” the source said.

@KobeissiLetter This could be a cautious but important opening for diplomacy. Even indirect engagement shows both sides may be exploring ways to de-escalate, but the emphasis on sustainable proposals signals Iran won’t compromise on core national interests. A delicate balance ahead.

Crossfire Hurricane opened July 31, 2016, based solely on the tip from Australian officials about George Papadopoulos claiming Russia had "dirt" on Hillary Clinton. The FBI didn't receive the Steele reports until weeks later. The Crossfire Hurricane team got them Sept 19, 2016. This doesn't deny the probe had serious flaws. It did. Especially the Carter Page FISA warrant applications, where the dossier played a central role and the IG identified 17 major errors/omissions. But saying the probe "in large part depended" on the dossier is inaccurate per the IG report (direct quote: "Steele's reports played no role in the Crossfire Hurricane opening"). Your argument conflates that with the entire FBI investigation being based on the dossier, which it 100% wasn't. You then take it even further to claim that Mueller's probe (which continued the existing investigation after Comey's firing) was therefore built on false pretenses. This is flawed logic. The mix-up seems to be conflating the dossier's problematic use in the specific Page FISA warrants with the probe's overall origins/scope. This was obviously done on purpose by influencers and Trump, but the facts prove otherwise. And again, Russian interference was real & sweeping. Mueller, Senate Intel, IC assessments all confirm it (not debatable). Mueller wasn't predicated on the dossier or false pretenses. It stemmed from the Papadopoulos tip & expanded from there.

@cabsav456 I'll spell it out for you in simple terms. The Mueller investigation followed directly from Crossfire Hurricane, which in large part depended on the Steele dossier. When you say the Mueller investigation had nothing to do with the Steele Dossier it is just a lie.

Seven years ago, we learned about Bob Mueller’s conclusions. Today, there are a lot of posts on social media claiming it was a farce, or worse, a fraud. But those posts are disinformation. Here is the actual information, with links for those who want to do a deep dive. open.substack.com/pub/joycevance…

@JoyceWhiteVance What's crazy is that Trump and his cronies said the Mueller report exonerated Trump...then why did they hate him so much? Seems like exonerating him should have made them grateful to him.

I once had respect for @brithume. He eventually made his way onto a sad list of people I used to think had integrity but have proved me wrong over this very long and discouraging decade. And he continues to reassure that he’ll stay on that list.
