@JeffTheeShark Sony sold KPDH in 2021. Pandemic was in full effect and theaters were basically ghost towns. This was before the songs were complete. Before the animation was complete. Netflix bought it "sight-unseen." Sony was trying to keep ppl employed! They couldn't know it would RULE!

@Schezarade Well KPDH came out well after the pandemic so regardless Someone made a bad decision. Similarly Netflix didn't market the film

Important to remember: Sony ALSO believed this and decided to sell it to Netflix for like 6 nickels Then Netflix just threw it up with NO marketing. The only reason KPDH did well was BECAUSE people talked about it. Thats why NOW we're getting McD collabs and Barbie Dolls
