If at first you don’t succeed, blow up all evidence that you tried. Malo periculosam, libertatem quam quietam servitutem.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you’re capable of great violence, if you’re not capable of violence you’re not peaceful, you’re harmless. Important distinction. -Stefan Grant

The inlaws have finally sold their monstrosity of a 5th wheel. Which leaves me this 15x50' slab. What should we do with it?

I just heard the words parents dread….. Oldest son, when I walk in “ did you know you can use these scissors to cut your hair?” Mom is still asleep. Am I cooked?

God does not bless any conflict. Anyone who is a disciple of Christ, the Prince of Peace, is never on the side of those who once wielded the sword and today drop bombs. Military action will not create space for freedom or times of #Peace, which comes only from the patient promotion of coexistence and dialogue among peoples.

@IGADON2 Oh yes, very scary. A big nuisance for agriculture. They can be incredibly aggressive and territorial, easy to startle, and are built like tanks. They can grow to be quite large, and their charge is deadly. They are very fast, and it is said they have no fear once charging.

The 'Demon Core' - the core of the third atomic bomb in WWII that was never dropped. It still managed to kill 2 American scientists. (1945) The “Demon Core” was a 6.2kg plutonium sphere prepared in 1945 as the core for a third atomic bomb. After Japan’s surrender, it was retained at Los Alamos Laboratory for criticality experiments. Two fatal accidents gave it its name. In August 1945, physicist Harry Daghlian accidentally dropped a tungsten carbide block onto the core, briefly driving it supercritical; he died weeks later from radiation exposure. In May 1946, Louis Slotin was demonstrating a similar test using beryllium hemispheres, holding them apart with a screwdriver. The tool slipped, the assembly went critical, and Slotin died nine days later. These incidents led to major changes in nuclear safety, including the use of remote handling equipment and stricter procedures. After the accidents, the core was melted down and its material recycled into later U.S. nuclear weapons, rather than being used as originally intended. © Reddit #archaeohistories

@MemoryMedieval We can comprehend it. That isn’t the hard part. Building medieval monuments is the hard part because of that pesky space/time continuum.

The American mind cannot comprehend a skyline absolutely dominated by a medieval monument. Lincoln Cathedral was once the tallest building in the world. The spire has since collapsed but the immense cathedral still towers over the town of Lincoln.

Just had a truancy court judge in Marble Falls, TX threaten me with 3 days in jail and fine me $100 for lawfully withdrawing my son from public school the very next day and homeschooling him — something explicitly protected by the Homeschool Freedom Act of 2025. She demanded proof of a specific “good citizenship” course and claimed I needed court permission to withdraw my own child. This isn’t about education. It’s about revenue and control. Like so many parents are discovering nationwide, these truancy systems look more like shake-down operations than anything else. Where exactly is all this fine money going? @NickShirleyTX @JamesOKeefeIII — any interest in looking into truancy court abuse in small-town Texas? #HomeschoolFreedom #TexasTruancy @thsc
