@SimpliiFin Hey! Don’t bank with Simplii if you are planning on taking out a mortgage or a loan. over a week to get some simple documents and they denied doing some of it and didn’t call! Closing on a house is stressful at the best of times so don’t complicate it with Simplii

@Typ_Speed Yes, pretty cool stuff. Once again just commenting on how the origins of the KBO was to instil nationalism and distract from oppression. So the fact they have a fervent nationalistic fan base is kinda unsurprising. I love the history.

Yes Korean baseball fans rule, but how did the Korean baseball fans become so nationalistic Jon? Was it forcibly baked-in by a US backed military junta leader who needed a nationalistic pastime to placate the population while he suppressed (murdered) the democracy movement?

Korean baseball fans are some of the most supportive I’ve seen — in any sport, anywhere in the world. Before national team games, they bring KBO club jerseys and display them together in the cheering section. @WBSC @Premier12 ⁦@MLBNetwork⁩ ⁦@YonhapNews⁩ 🇰🇷

@SeanDoBaseball Also, funnly you cite Gwangju beacuse Gwangju Tigers fans are knownly by being highly pro-democracy and games of Tigers were used to organize protests for democracy for various yrs some regions that were more pro-junta HATED that. this caused heated rivalities with many incidnts
