There's that "solidarity" again. What is it with compromised diplomats & this vacuous, overused word? The ancient Hebrews did cooperate on their exodus, so I can't discount Guty's reference to that. But they sure didn't have a lotta solidarity with the Egyptians - & vice versa.

@FightNeverFear He quoted Mussorgsky in one of his songs - I can't remember which one. I believe the quote was from "Bydlo" in Pictures. I played it (badly) on the piano & listened to Brendel's version of it endlessly, so I recognized it. 'Twould be interesting if this were a coincidence.

I'm sorry - I'm listening to "Ghouleh / Zombie Queen" by Ghost right now & really digging it. It reminds me a bit of "Layla," as it has a "2-for-1" song format (though the latter part of "Layla" is the portion that everyone wants to hear ... not Clapton's awful voice). Anyway.
