@SimpleRectangle Oh 100%, enjoyment of the mechanic feels way too dictated by whether the other guy gets it or not
I spent years on 50 cards for mine so I totally get that, I was only able to comfortably pare it down to a flat 40 once AGOV came around

@DistantCoder @Barkeye52 @Review_bra There is no way you think these 2 are comparable in how easy to parse they are. You just play ygo much you've learned all the meta cards by heart, and you know how to interact with them just based on experience.

@DrSlimes being screwed over by certain mechanics is bad. Theres a fair amount of cards that I didn't mention already, like macro cosmos/dimension shifter

@DrSlimes Now that I say it out loud, yes I do agree with you that it is a piloting issue and that I shouldn't blame the card, since that is how bufo and triantis are supposed to work. And yeah, I'm not very knowledgeable with predaplants.

@SHINTAB_44 I do like pends still, but for me its tiring having to go to locals and constantly explain to people the rulings and everything and even when I get it right, people will still be like "nuh uh"
Pend has always been hard to ratio with non engine stuff, I go over 40 always lol

@SimpleRectangle Had me in the first half but pends are still one of my favorite mechanics because of how fun and easy to understand they were for me
My bigger problem with them has always been deckbuilding with pends because ratios are always screwy and there's always little room for non-engine

@SimpleRectangle As a Zarc/ennea player id argue syncrhos are harder to comprehend and as much as a combo slop as anything pends pull out

@DrSlimes like its the reason triantis works the way it does, but sometimes you wont have it for when it comes up. You can also potentially misplay them if you don't use triantis first if you don't know thats how pends work. Maybe its a nitpick but thats how I feel.
