@Dee0871 Oh got me too. It was a missed opportunity for a much punchier reply. 1. because it’s probably cost effective &more eco conscious. 2. because exposed pipes in old prisons are used for a number of nefarious purposes. &on en suite showers- <violence & more much needed human dignity

🗳️Why we knock until the last minute! At 9.45, we met Kerrie-Ann who lives on the road I grew up on who couldn’t go to vote as she had no-one to wheel her to her polling station, just a few minutes away. 🦽 I promised I’d get her there and back in one piece, and so off we went - me running with her wheel chair over uneven pavements at top speeds! We made it just before the station closed at 10pm and she was able to cast her vote for me, her neighbour. Magical way to end polling day. ✨ Thank you ALL for your support 🙏🙏

From @guardian, our CEO's response to news that 74% fewer people in prison took a rehabilitative course in 2023 than in 2010. Charities like ours fill gaps left by government. We hope for a sensible debate on our justice system & an end to the crisis in our prisons. @StandOutPP
