GM with some background on my new series on @exchgART post-future-digital-alien-tapestry-core: a series of digital artworks inspired by woven tapestries, digital aesthetics, and fractal-esque repeating patterns found in math, science, and nature. This series represents a search for Truth in the intersection of math, science, and nature. My fascination with this "Truth" began with a question that came to mind while observing a sunset over the Mississippi River in New Orleans: "What is the scientific explanation for why humans universally find sunsets so beautiful and enthralling?" This question led me down a rabbit hole, searching for instances where art, beauty, and science coincide -- this search eventually led him to study Benoit Mandelbrot's writings on the fractal nature of geometry and Leonardo DaVinci's lifelong obsession with the intersection of science, physics, nature, art, and beauty. Process: The textures in each work are created by crushing individual layers until repetitive patterns emerge as if unearthing them from below the surface of the screen. Well-known fractal shapes such as Sierpinski triangles are revealed through intentional degradation, sparking more curiosity about how and why these patterns emerge both in nature and in the computational crushing of a digital canvas. Textures are then woven together layer by layer, taking ingredients that both nature and machine provide and weaving them together with a human touch like a tapestry, creating an interplay between order and chaos that mirrors the natural world and the universe. First wave of mainstream NFTs was largely builders and marketers slapping “it’s about the art”. As an after thought - next wave is real artists being able to actually step into the role of builder and express their vision with virtually no limits like emotionull.

Three weeks ago Kimi told me it was "software created by Anthropic." It's not — it's made by Moonshot AI. I flagged it. Same week, MiniMax called itself GPT-4. DeepSeek credited OpenAI as its creator. Also both wrong. All three only confused identity under introspective questioning — ask them directly and they answer correctly. My hypothesis: their training data is contaminated with Western AI outputs, and it's leaking into their self-concept. Today Anthropic announced these exact three companies distilled Claude at industrial scale. 24,000 fake accounts. 16 million exchanges. I had this data three weeks ago and sat on it. That's the last time I wait to publish a finding.

Vibe coding killed UI originality. Every vibe-coded app looks the same. The UI/UX has 0 soul. It's empty, poor. Same colors, same buttons, same chips, same cards. AI was supposed to make products better, not copy-paste the same boring UI everywhere 🥲

Mac Studio would def be overkill then. I’m on a Mac Mini with 24 GB and doing plenty on it with openclaw Hmu if you have any Q’s - I made a OpenClaw guide for myself with all the tips + tricks from various guides plus all the mistakes I made in the first two weeks. Would be happy to share

Alex Finn is the worst offender when it comes to the overhyping. Bamboozled me into spending $1,500 on a Mac mini. I severely underestimated the api costs, rate limiting issues, and all around bugginess. But now I at least can see who’s grifting for the ai Twitter engagement and who’s real. For now I’ll rely primarily on Claude Code for any heavy lifting.

@shawmakesmagic ok yes that's the feedback i'm getting from others as well. it's in the right direction, but it's not nearly as incredible as others are saying imho.

Tabling openclaw for the important stuff for now. Shows a lot of promise, but it just gets so stupid sometimes. I wasted the entire day in like 2 loops. Insane.

@AlexFinn How are you avoiding rate limiting issues with opus 4.5? Figuring out efficient token usage has been my biggest obstacle so far.
