Good morning. NYR have indicated they are prepared to keep Vincent Trocheck if they don't get what they feel they need. Told teams, they are not trading him just for the sake of making a trade. Deadlines spur action...we will see what the day brings.

@AdamZHerman Adam, wishful thinking. Unfortunately for the Red Wings, Hurricanes, Sabres, Penguins, and Bruins are happy to know the Wild are risking it all. The Wild window is now with Hughes gone at the end of the season.

I don't see much reason for the Wild to give up on Trocheck 27 hours before the deadline. There aren't really any realistic alternatives on the center market, though I'm sure they're looking. This feels like the Wild trying to spook NYR into accepting the offer on the table.

@dotsonc Chad, your comments in regards to the Reds giving away top prospects for rentals make you look ignorant, lack knowledge of baseball. Deep prospects pool allows the Reds have competition in all the positions and depth. Remember Cincinnati is small market.

@JoeFortunatoBSB To all the negative comments, NYR have had a rash of bad luck injuries to most of their players. Team has not played the entire season without a key player out of the lineup. Nobody in the NHL would fair better. I credit Head Coach Mike Sullivan, David Quinn, and Chris Drury.

@NYRangers Rangers are very fortunate to have a Gold Medal coach and GM. Chris Drury is doing an outstanding job, considering all the bad luck injuries throughout the season. NYR never had a full injury-free lineup this season. To all haters, get a life and move on and go to Long Island
