@SynthPotato Thought I was invincible in Hernand. By time I did Reed Devil, I absolutely smoked him. Decided to get lost in the world, got rocked by a strange group of plate armored guys with flaming swords. Now I'm even more excited to continue the plot and explore more.

40 hours into Crimson Desert and I still haven’t done a single thing outside of Hernand, the opening region. It is blowing my mind that I haven’t seen 70% of the map yet, I keep wondering “How did they do this?”, its Red Dead 2 level detailed in a Ubisoft size open world somehow

@Dansgaming Some weapons/armor/jewelry unlock unique talents at higher tier refine upgrades. The game is grindy for grindy sake for that sort of stuff though. Most players won't ever have every unique item at maximum refine.

Seems like Weapons and Armor in Crimson Desert have mostly standardized stats. A one handed sword I got late in the game has the same stats and sockets as my starter one handed sword at the same upgrade level. This makes choosing a weapon mostly a cosmetic choice.

Neither one has learned how to pause and think before reacting.” That’s it. Two people, two failures, one public mess. I called the man out for losing control of his emotions. That includes the moment he put his hands on her. Full stop. There is no defense for that. Ever. What I also pointed out because the video actually shows it is that the girl was not silent either. She was in the mix, running her mouth, escalating right alongside him. That doesn’t excuse his reaction. It simply means both of them chose to let their emotions run the show instead of hitting pause for three seconds and de-escalating like adults. I’m not saying “both sides are equal.” I’m saying both sides were stupid. One was physically violent, the other was verbally pouring gasoline on the fire. Neither won. Both lost. And the internet immediately turned it into a one sided morality play where anyone who notices the girl’s role gets branded a defender of the abuser. That’s lazy. That’s exactly the kind of reactive, emotion first thinking I was calling out in the first place. Watch the full clip again with fresh eyes not the 8 second rage bait cut that got clipped for maximum outrage. You’ll see two people feeding off each other’s chaos until it boiled over. That doesn’t make the hitter any less wrong. It just makes the situation tragically human instead of cartoon villain simple. I’m not here to protect the guy. I’m here to protect the truth emotional control is a two-way street, and pretending it’s only the man’s job is how these cycles keep repeating. Pause. Think. Then speak. Or don’t speak at all.
