@CoffindafferFBI Well, a couple reasons right off- Somebody wanted publicity and attention. Whoever sent the notes figured that it would be a lot harder to trace them if sent to a media outlet.

Nancy Guthrie Consider this- Why go to 2 local Tucson media stations the day after the abduction with ransom demands? Then, when the stations don't announce emails to the press, why go to TMZ (1.5 million reach daily)? Why go to the media at all with No Proof of Life? Only 1 answer. Public Humiliation. The people who took Nancy knew they would not get paid $6 Million with no proof of life. They knew the FBI would tell the Guthries not to pay with no proof of life. So basically, by going to the press with the demand and forcing the family to address the notes publicly, the public knows Savannah is worth $40 Million, but was not willing to pay even though Savannah believed the notes were real. We see the public backlash from the Guthrie family decision. People say why didn't Savannah pay if she knew the notes were "real"? It was the right decision because Nancy was likely deceased. It wasn't enough that Porch Guy took her mom, they wanted her to receive public backlash too. The video was recorded in gray scale IR, what does adding infrared mean? All you did is add color by assigning values to shades of gray....

@CoffindafferFBI The cam that guy is talking about is a Google Outdoor cam. It does not have human form detection capabilities, just motion sensor with a discriminator. So, any comment made by Nanos about detecting a person is BS. Anything moving could have triggered an alert.

Nancy Guthrie To be clear, what is Most interesting about Porch Guy using the fresh vines he pulled to assist him with removing the Nest Camera shows his Inexperience with: 1-Wearing what appears to be double layered gloves meaning, Porch Guy did not realize how double layered gloves would affect his ability to grip and do the job at hand. He knew they would protect his DNA . He didn't know they would impede his ability to remove that camera because he had never removed a camera with gloved hand before. 2-Removing Nest cameras from mounts. If he had experience, he would have realized how difficult it would be to grip and pull from the bracket. Porch Guy planned and prepared, but this abduction was his first rodeo. Many of us in LE surmised this from the beginning based on his actions. This supports that conclusion. This isn't to say his planning didn't pay off. It did. But I am convinced now more that ever that he was a smart rookie having never committed a crime like this before. @BadDobby7 @CoffindafferFBI Depends on how they were sent. Some were apparently sent to TMZ via their Contact Us page, which is pretty much anonymous so not traceable. Bouncing emails through a host of foreign VPN servers, some not traceable, and again its anonymous because the IPs can't be traced.

@glennroad1 @CoffindafferFBI A good IT guy will use a number of different VPNs to hide his location. There are many in foreign countries that can't be traced. This is what LE would have done on day 1, and if they knew anything it would have been acted on already.

Because no one who knows him wants to come forward and his face is not being circulated enough. I still believe 2 people- 2 very close people. They know their lives are on the line if they rat eachother out. Porch Guy had a handitalkie. This means there was someone he was communicating with. Could he have been solo?
