A panenka has the same chance of going in as any other penalty.
A keeper dives in more than 90% of penalty situations, in a report by OPTA a couple years ago, in 22/23 95% of penalties down the middle went in and in 23/24 93.3% of penalties down the middle went in.

Obviously the pen is a shocker but let's have it right - Enzo has run his backside off since the day he arrived. It's a bad decision in heat of moment to learn from. Someone has to take them.
And Sunderland were completely outplayed for 85 minutes either side of it.

Let’s not pretend it’s about anything other than validating referees. If a ref *sees* something and makes a decision, very very rare it’s ever reviewed. Genuine case for a Garnacho sending off that isn’t even discussed because the penalty decision is so ludicrous
