its also crazy to look at this and realize i had real aptitude for pixel art. i had a consistent light source, reduced palettes, and kinda pulled off the isometric look just from references. i used to look at pixel art by other people for hours. i love what i do

thinking about my first ever pixel art that i made when i was around 15 or 16. i sometimes wonder where i would be at now if the response from the adults i showed it to hadn't been negative. i wouldn't do pixel art again until i was nearly 21.

I do find its more consistent at least in getting up there, but I struggle to land on the rail once I do (I end up going into the audience instead)

@WFri2z @HollowLeif It depends the angle/curve of the wall and how you enter in "wallride mode". For this clip you have to release the charge jump as late as possible and then put your stick up left. If you just bump onto the wall that means your alignment with the wall was too straight

@yuck39 @TheJoshMan07 MKWorld is highly strat dependant compared to other MK games. Meaning that you can have slightly less optimized lines but if you nail every strats you basically outrun anyone. It'll probably be the game with the highest skill gap between new players and experienced ones, trust me

@HollowLeif Beyond the fact you needed a feather for the pole cut, a game should be fun at its skill floor. Ignoring that, peoples problem with mkw is clearly not the actual driving, its the intermissions and lack of content
