@devXritesh I thought u were just another larper here for engagement farming but I stand corrected
English

@backindev Well I learnt all things above you mentioned about CPP.
But switching DSA in Java hectic but trying.
How's Java spring boot working in MNC now a days?
English

Ok, if you are from tier-3 colleges which is a good chance don't do this,
Java is still the enterprise king and many companies will like to check your proficiency language -specific, you can arguably say cpp is the worse choice here
Ritesh Roushan@devXritesh
If you ever feel useless, remember: There are people in 2026 still learning DSA... in JAVA. While Python/Rust/Go users solve in 5 lines, Java grinders battle boilerplate for O(1) hashmap. LeetCode Java gang coping hardest rn. Java DSA in 2026 is like using IE to browse modern web tragic. Java defenders assemble. Prove your boilerplate is worth it. Or admit Python won.
English

@devXritesh Ok, I checked you profile and you are absolutely killing it and I am still a student
Why switch now? continue I'd say that matters only for sbc.
Like from the people I know, hyd is pretty much boot and dot net, go still a niche.
Pune is also similar to hyd

@siddu6003 Noooooooooo,
Weakest bowling for srh I reckon, been watching them since 2013.

@backindev Malinga is injured so they will play Livingstone until he comes back
English

@devXritesh It becomes unnecessary pile up to learn different things, and most of the companies limit to cpp, java and python.
Go, rust and others cost them more
I did in cpp, and that was a pretty bad move but we move on
English

@devXritesh Will tell you my side of story
Accenture, virtusa and even epam (later allowed cpp) only allowed python/java,
When you mention cpp, the interviewer expects you to know friend functions, memory management, virtual classes etc... the list goes on, only stl ain't gonna cut through

@purusa0x6c 90pc of people will give up on it while trying to figure out the setup of cuda
English

Now everyone is going to learn that.
Greg Powell@ThoughtfulTechy
Learn NVIDIA tech ASAP. The engineers who understand GPUs, CUDA, and AI factories will run the next decade of the AI era.

@Duk_dard_kasht @UsmanIfc Alhamdulillah brother was always on the right path

@siddu6003 Yupp, been applying to jobs for the past 2 months and can see ai engg roles in startups, they pay slightly more than a sde but usually found in wellfound etc...
Enterprises are yet to hire for that market.
Would still say openings are pretty less for those roles
English

@backindev I’m also trying to learn by looking at people around me , things are changing rapidly so we have to be quick as well
English

@backindev Yes absolutely and if you are strong with core fundamentals of software engineering you will have the edge
English

@siddu6003 So will it be a good move to become an agentic /applied ai engg whose job is to build multi step agents and stuff?
English

@backindev Depends on the overall adoption of AI across the industries
English

@siddu6003 Hmm so maybe you can say the supply became cheaper or got bumped by ai so salaries and demand will come down?
One more question, is there a chance token costs won't come down?
English
