I believe words aren’t painful on their own. But depends who says them. Especially if we had any kind of maan in that person. I once got into an accident and broke 16 bones in my body leaving me disabled and bed ridden for a year. And someone said to me, I should leave the house because taking care of me was a lot of work. I called an ambulance and left the same day.

Apologies for taking down a tweet I posted earlier. It contained some sensitive information that I hadn’t realized should not be made public at this time. Everyone is doing their bit to get @hafizsaadriaz home safely to his family. And a slight lack of care in what is shared could potentially sabotage his case. Hence, the decision to take the tweet down. Thank you!

@bee_asks He’s been arrested, and FIR has been lodged against him - it’s not an abduction legally speaking. If his family feels it’s an unlawful arrest, they should approach the high court and seek an order for bail and to carry out an impartial investigation.

Deeply concerned about @hafizsaadriaz unlawful abduction. When due process is bypassed, it weakens the very foundations of justice. Muhammad Saad’s case demands transparency, accountability, and adherence to the law. The state must ensure his immediate release and uphold constitutional rights. CTD operates as part of Punjab Police, but its close coordination with other state agencies often places it in a grey zone of accountability. This overlap cannot become a shield for bypassing due process. Powers granted for counterterrorism must remain subject to the law, transparency, and judicial oversight.

To civil society, journalists, and state officials: I am writing as a grieving wife, seeking the immediate and lawful release of my husband, Muhammad Saad. At approximately 3:30 AM this Monday, 12–13 masked men with guns forcibly entered our home and took him away without presenting any warrant or lawful authority. This was an unlawful deprivation of liberty and a direct violation of due process. Only after legal pressure did personnel within CTD register an FIR on laughable grounds. This post facto action raises serious concerns of mala fide intent and abuse of process, where the law is invoked after the fact to justify an illegal act. Saad is a journalist, researcher, and Political Science scholar. His work engages with complex subjects, including Balochistan, Kashmir, and international affairs. He has interviewed recognised public figures such as Former Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar, as well as senior journalists Sohail Warraich and Hamid Mir, and has introduced major international voices to Pakistan’s media space. More importantly, Saad has worked with state institutions when called upon, contributing to areas aligned with the national interest. He was vetted, cleared, and entrusted by the State. Today, that same individual is being subjected to coercive action by its functionaries. This contradiction is not incidental but structural. If individuals who have been vetted and trusted by the state can be subjected to arbitrary detention and retrospective criminalisation, then the question is unavoidable: on what basis does the state expect trust from its citizens? The actions of certain personnel within CTD constitute a clear overreach of authority. Powers granted for public safety cannot be exercised in violation of constitutional safeguards, including the inviolability of the home and the right to due process. The law does not permit enforced taking into custody followed by procedural reconstruction. Saad has never engaged with any proscribed material nor been involved in any unlawful activity. His life and work have remained within the bounds of law and intellectual inquiry. I call upon civil society, the media, and responsible state authorities to take immediate cognisance of this case. Ensure due process. Examine the legality of the initial detention. Hold those responsible accountable. And ensure his safe and immediate release. This is not just about one individual. It is about law and dignity. It is about giving hope to others who have worked for the state and Pakistan whenever called upon, who have trusted the state against all odds. This youth must be protected and safeguarded within a shrinking demographic that believe in state and that is increasingly disillusioned and disenfranchised. #ReleaseSaad #RuleofLaw

My ammi and abbu are competing over who logs more steps each day. Ammi’s losing and now she’s claiming her app glitches and doesn’t record her steps. A full Form 47 situation is unfolding here.

In early 19th century, a husband decided to play a prank on his wife. He would secretly dim the gaslights in their home or flicker them every night at dinner. When the wife complained, he would deny noticing any change. Amusement sparked and he started doing it more often. In the day, middle of the night. The wife, doubting her own perception, started seeing flickering gaslights everywhere, making her lose her sanity entirely. That’s how the term “Gaslighting” was coined. It is a form of an emotional abuse and manipulation that damages you beyond comprehension. It erodes self trust, and makes the person stay in the state of constant anxiety.

I am writing this post for my friends in Pakistan Tehreek‑e‑Insaf. Please listen with open minds. I often see you arguing that PTI accounts that are pro-BLA, pro-TTP, and anti-state are not the mainstream voice of the party. Actually, yes they are. Just look at the exhibit. I personally know people running the PTI Overseas body who post things comparing Epstein to CDF. The PTI Gen Secretary in Canada even made an alt account and, under a post about the martyrdom of our military brothers in Balochistan, wrote: خس کم جہاں پاک This sentiment trickles down from the top. If you don’t feel this way, you are, unfortunately, now an anomaly. The majority has gone this rogue. Now let’s review this in light of current events. Pakistan, like most countries in the world, is going through an existential crisis - both internally and externally. If I were at the helm of affairs (CDF or PM), why would I risk further internal destabilization by letting Imran Khan go under these conditions? You are, in fact, working tirelessly against your own cause. Politics is another name for rapprochement. I genuinely believe IK should be given a free and fair trial, receive all the medical treatment he needs, and be afforded the respect he deserves even while incarcerated. But the road you have chosen to achieve this will only lead to greater harm for everyone. Your party is not on the same page. It is not cohesive. It is highly disorganized and can no longer restrain its own people. Everytime the state shows a little room for negotiations, they go giving interview to anti-Pak pro-India news channels, or make AI images of CDF with a woman, or something worse. Please, strategize. Aap loug aakhir chahte kya hain?
Syed Talat Hussain@TalatHussain12

This leaves nothing to imagination. Sohail Afridi proves everything the Establishment has been saying about the PTI. Nothing has damaged the party more than his deadly desire to sound big in small rooms. Terrible self-indictment.

@bee_asks @kdastgirkhan PTI are an asset gone rogue. Unfortunately they were cultivated and programmed in the form of a cult. They’re behaving exactly the same way as they were programmed. This is a classic Frankenstein story. Pakistan is paying the price
