Insane footage. Israeli Security Forces found over 60 Palestinians hiding inside a garbage truck attempting to infiltrate Israel. Ask yourselves why they wanted to get in?

The Greens don’t even pretend to care about local residents when running for council. All they care about is Palestine and Israel, not a single word about local actions.

@daveRessex @Nigel_Farage No it didn't. Farage had no influence on the Tory government's decision to let in huge numbers of legal immigrants. The Tories had a huge majority at the time and didn't need to listen to anyone else on immigration or any other issue.

@MittensOff How do you know where @Nigel_Farage is welcome or not? We'll see how welcome @reformparty_uk is in May when it wins a huge number of council seats and takes its place in the toytown assemblies in Scotland and Wales.

A true statesman. A man with integrity, vision and the will to drive #Britain. A man who lets the crazy rhetoric of a delusional #POTUS go way over his head. A strong leader unfazed by the task ahead, PUTTING BRITAIN AND #BRITISH INTERESTS FIRST! BACK HIM OR WE FALL!

@MittensOff Lovely! Reminds me of the Remain campaign in 2016 which was of a similar standard of sophistication.

@PaulAllenSK1 @wesstreeting Of all the people who need their pay restoring to 2008 levels to live a decent life doctors rank very low on the list as they are better paid than most. If my taxes are to rise to pay some people 2008 wages then I'd rather it went to more modestly paid people.

@blue2boot @wesstreeting Sorry you are mistaken. Those Millionaires in 2008 who have become Billionaires by 2026 on the back of low wages and poor working conditions are the greedy ones. It's not greedy to expect to be paid what you are worth.

Any further comment @wesstreeting after your claim the NHS couldn't function without private service providers? How many private services could be replaced if the total cost of those services including the £1.6Bn profit was directly invested in the NHS to provide those services?
Dr Shivam Sharma@DocShivSharma

We’re told we can’t afford doctors. But we can afford £1.6 BILLION in profits for private companies. These are deliberate choices to move NHS money into private hands, not frontline care. The government's privatisation of the NHS isn't so secret anymore.

@TeresaWeath I remember when Remainers had no respect for public opinion. They bitterly opposed holding a referendum and then tried to get the result ignored. Now they have the utmost respect for public opinion. Hilarious hypocrisy.

@jlbps I just think it's worth reminding people that private sector provision, for profit, has been the main source of NHS care since day 1 in 1948. The NHS cannot be privatised because most of its care is already, and always has been, done by private contractors.

@PaulAllenSK1 @wesstreeting It's greedy to expect your wages to return to 2008 levels when most of the people who would have to fund it, the working people of the UK, are never going to return to those levels themselves. And when most of those people earn far less than doctors during their working lives.

@blue2boot @wesstreeting Less than £19/hr to just under £23/hr is hardly greed. Streeting salary is circa £161,000 pa plus exes plus personal donations, what do you call that.

@jlbps It's about private sector provision to the NHS. I'm reminding people that the private sector is and always has been responsible for the vast majority of NHS care because GP practices practices are private businesses.

@jlbps But GP practices are private firms. No getting away from that. GPs were asked to join the NHS as employees in 1948 but refused. They insisted on being private contactors to it. They still do.

@blue2boot They are partnerships I suppose, but I don't think these are the private firms referrred to in the Guardian article. 😃
