We just made image generation unlimited on Freepik. No tokens. no caps. no waiting. Generate as much as you want. We've wanted to do this for a long time, but it was just too expensive to do it. Why do we do it now?

I've long had a suspicion that a lot of the MJ "magic" is downstream from the original OpenAI CLIP model, which had captured a lot of "knowledge" about art styles, but is otherwise quite limited. Hence why more recent models like NB struggle with producing a wide range of styles, but have much greater coherence and prompt following. I suspect it's hard for MJ with their limited resources to overcome one without losing the other.

Freepik has built one of the most useful creative workflow features I’ve seen in a while. Most people are still creating assets one by one. But with Lists in @Freepik Spaces, one workflow can process multiple inputs at once and turn a slow manual task into a real content pipeline. Here’s how ⤵️ #FreepikLists #PaidPartnership

@javilopen for what is worth, I got a completely different experience with ElevenLabs and I think it's a great product. That looks more like a bug. Shit happens.

Humbled by the continuous support that we get from our users. We are the first company in that list that is European, and maybe correlated, bootstrapped. Proud of representing Spain.

𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 - 𝘄𝗲’𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 €𝟭𝟴𝟬𝗠 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗖 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴! With over €350 million raised to date, this new investment, lead by Mitsubishi Electric, reinforces our technological and industrial leadership in the launcher market, enabling us to execute the next phase of our strategic roadmap with the speed and scale required to compete globally. MIURA 5 was designed to address a clear and growing capacity gap in the market, and this investment support strengthens our ability to transition into commercial operations. It accelerates the build‑out of the industrial and launch infrastructure required to deliver reliable access to space for an expanding pipeline of global customers. The Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, through the Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation (CDTI), the Spanish public funds management company COFIDES and the European renowned Spanish fund Nazca Capitalthrough have co-invested in this round. Incredibly grateful to our investment partners for their confidence in our launch system and support of our vision! Read full news content below: bit.ly/4bmEXT2

Good news is: I'm "working" (for free) with Seedance 2.0 to fix the moderation problem and stop the nerfed experience. I'm doing this for the glory of Generative AI. If you have feedback that can help Bytedance improve their models, leave a comment.

We made an animated short film with AI. It made people cry "ROOTS", a story about family, fatherhood, and the things worth holding on to. It was built entirely inside Freepik, by a team, from script to final cut Here's how we made it 🧵

Episode Five of the Freepik original series is here! We hit the seas of the Chronicles of Bone universe to meet the infamous Captain Hook! Created with the tools inside @freepik this episode explores the man who claims to have taken down Peter Pan and his lost boys.  The Chronicles of Bone - Prologue Part Five: The King of the Seas Twenty years after forging his pact with the Mordane Empire, Captain Hook’s name still carries legend but legend fades. The younger pirates question his loyalty, his victories, and the price of his power. When resentment boils into mutiny, Hook must defend not just his ship, but his legacy. In the aftermath, he encounters a new and unsettling force rising from the depths: Captain Nemo. #chroniclesofbone #cob #freepikoriginal

There is a difference between artificial and natural intelligence. You can copy artificial intelligence, and you can't copy natural intelligence. Artificial intelligence is a digital construction, stored in computers, and it can be paused, saved, copied, resumed. Natural intelligence is messier. You can't perfectly copy it. That makes every one of us a unique entity, shaped by our unique experiences. I watched the interview of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck by Joe Rogan, and Matt Damon explains how Dwayne Johnson put together two traumatic events in his life for a masterful interpretation in The Smashing Machine. I don't know what will happen to Hollywood in a couple of years, but I hope nothing bad happens. We will forever enjoy films where people pour something that is unique to them. But there is now a new option to make films created by smaller crews. We will have some films created like we create books today. Even a single individual with a story, a vision, will be able to develop a world, and shape it little by little, with considerable effort, polishing every corner. She may be alone. Or she may get help. And those two options are ok. Reviewers and editors can help make a story stronger. Directors of photography can find the composition, the temperature, and the angle that make it click. And of course actors shape their characters, sometimes completely transforming the film. Films compete for our attention, and great films rightfully collect great rewards. If any of those people adds a little bit to the film, then it will make economic sense to have them on the film. Those capable of adding something to a story and making it better will still have a great future. Those who are not will have a harder time. Alone or on a team, using film, cameras, a pencil, or AI, we should celebrate those who tell stories. We will see some jobs shrink, or even disappear. And I'm not looking forward to it, but they will have to adapt. Gen AI will fundamentally change how we do most visual effects, and it will change how we create animated films. Ben Affleck mentions AI is no good at telling stories, and it's not good at acting. But it will get better. We have seen that before. I had exactly the same reaction to DALL·E, and my wake up call was DALL·E 2. Generated images went from not good, to ok, to great. It was the same with math, code, music, and now video. I can't see anything that we do now not being done by an AI in the future, except for having a real life and gathering real experiences. But AI will be pretty good at simulating it. Contrary to AI (or robots), we only live once. We can't copy, save, restore. So our only edge seems to be to live an interesting life. Our life. Not something you can read, or watch. Make it meaningful. Whatever you decide to do later, you will be able to pour some of that into what you do, and you will make it unique in your own way. And if you don't, it's still good advice. The future is exciting and a bit scary. I look forward to seeing what will be possible tomorrow that is impossible today, but I mostly look forward to seeing what YOU bring to the table. Make it count.
