After all of the nonsense with the BBC last year when I refused to let them dictate my political thoughts online, @LBC bosses took the risk and offered me my show. And I'm so grateful to them for that. It seems to have paid off ❤️ But most of all I'm genuinely grateful to YOU for sticking with me and for all the support you've given me. True story: I was forced to interrupt medical school due to a severe mental health condition. The symptoms were debilitating, but the stigma was far worse. I wanted to devote my life to reducing stigma & I learned that King’s College London were world leaders in this field. It was literally my dream to conduct research at King’s on stigma reduction. So I recovered & after 10 years of relentless work, heartache, setbacks & suffering I was appointed Academic Clinical Fellow in Psychiatry at King’s College London. Dreams do come true.
