Apple has quietly halted App Store updates for popular AI "vibe-coding" applications most notably the $9 billion startup Replit and mobile app builder Vibecode.
After months of pushback, Apple is reportedly demanding major UX changes.
Replit is being asked to force its generated app previews to open in an external web browser rather than natively inside its app.
Vibecode was told it must completely remove the ability to generate software specifically for Apple devices.

MCP is dead?
Don't forget the end user when discussing MCP vs. API vs. CLI
I don't see a business user insert dozens of API endpoints into ChatGPT, Claude Desktop or Copilot. Or how would they even connect a CLI?

I can tell you how it’s going to work out: it will fail. I deliberately moved to a *very* walkable neighborhood in Florida, with shops, restaurants, gyms, etc. within a super easy reach. People still *completely* stay to themselves and hardly ever interact with each other. Aside from a dog walkers and a few dedicated retirees you never see anyone outdoors, even on a perfect weather Sunday afternoons. Generations’ worth of ingrained cultural habits are hard to break.

what adam neumann is doing now is such an obviously good idea. most of american life unless scheduled is super isolationist so you rarely get those spontaneous interactions with ppl.. this sorta flips that around right at the point of where ppl spend majority of their lives. anyway, it’s super duper interesting to see the wework model applied to residential.

Cursor’s $200/month actually costs them ~$5,000

You're not a customer right now. You're a user being onboarded into dependency.
The $200 price tag is temporary. The habit they're building in you is permanent.

Cursor’s internal analysis just leaked. Their $200/month Claude Code plan… actually costs them ~$5,000 in compute. Last year it was ~$2,000. Is this shit really sustainable or we are gonna forgot how to code and then AI also gets mad expensive

@gethackteam switched months ago and genuinely can't imagine going back. once you're working directly in the terminal the IDE layer starts to feel like a detour

The only reason to use Cursor today is because your company is providing it, everyone paying for it or expensing their subscription are using Codex or Claude Code
