CNN’s Wolf Blitzer describes the moment when he started hearing gunshots near him and a police officer threw Blitzer to the ground to protect him. "They got the gunman who had a major weapon".

Following an evacuation warning issued earlier today, the Israeli Army struck and dismantled two crossings over the Litani River that were used by Hezbollah terrorists and commanders to move from northern Lebanon to southern Lebanon. Hezbollah used these crossings to transfer thousands of weapons, including rockets, and rocket launchers to be used in terrorist attacks from south of the Litani. @selenaryan_

Once again today, certain accounts were posting positions and audio of bombers on what appeared to be an active strike mission. This is not the first time, and probably won't be the last. While not illegal it is incredibly stupid, could potentially be used by Iranians or any other hostile actors and has already resulted in certain OSINT resources being blocked or made private and are no longer available.

As others have said, and I’ll continue to parrot… LIVE tweeting/reporting on active strike missions, especially aircraft coming from CONUS pre-oceanic, is inherently irresponsible. Using any excuse to justify this, then posting it on X or any other platform only shows you care about likes, clicks, and any other engagement. I always say, if they didn’t want to be seen, they wouldn’t broadcast positions. In this case, it is very clear to any experienced tracker that deception/concealing tactics are actively being used and the intent to not be found, is clearly present. So, DO BETTER. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Yeah, this footage is unconfirmed and appears to be older or recycled—similar shaky-cam clips of incoming lights + close blasts have circulated from prior Houthi attacks on Saudi bases (2020-2022 era) or intercepts. No verified direct hit on Prince Sultan today. Saudi MoD and multiple outlets (Reuters, NYT, Wikipedia summaries) confirm multiple intercepts of Iranian missiles aimed there, no base impacts or major damage reported. Minor injuries unverified. Classic fog-of-war clip.

🚨🇮🇷🇺🇸🇸🇦 Unconfirmed video shows Iranian ballistic missile hitting Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. Landed meters from U.S. servicemembers. Only minor injuries. Prince Sultan Air Base hosts major U.S. military presence. This was a direct strike on American troops. If that missile had hit 50 feet differently, we'd be talking about dozens of dead Americans and the U.S. formally at war with Iran under different terms entirely. Prince Sultan's a major hub for U.S. operations. If Iran can hit it with ballistic missiles, nowhere in the Gulf is safe. @sentdefender

🚨🇰🇼🇺🇸 Kuwaiti Air Force C-17 just landed back from Italy, likely packed with new air defense equipment. At the same time, a U.S. DHS Boeing 737 left Athens heading to Abu Dhabi on another evacuation flight. Gulf states are rushing to arm up while America quietly pulls its people out. A directive across installations in the continental US, and beyond, directing ALL personnel to cease wearing their uniforms off base has been issued. Typically, personnel were allowed to transit from their homes to work in uniform. The new guidance directs personnel to change into civilian attire before departing the installation. This, in conjunction with the implementation of enhanced security at installations and government facilities around the country seems to indicate that the probability of some kind of incident or attack on US personnel or facilities has risen.

Kuwait: There is a continuing threat of missile and UAV attacks over Kuwait. Do not come to the Embassy. Take cover in your residence on the lowest available floor and away from windows. Do not go outside. The U.S. Embassy in Kuwait urges U.S. citizens in Kuwait to shelter in place, review security plans in the event of an attack, and to stay alert in case of additional future attacks. U.S. Embassy personnel are sheltering in place. Actions to take: - If you hear a loud explosion, or if sirens are activated, immediately seek cover. - If in a home or building, go to the lowest level of the structure with the fewest exterior walls, windows, and openings; close any doors and sit near an interior wall, away from any windows or openings. - If you are outdoors, immediately seek cover in a hardened structure; if that is not possible, lie down and cover your head with your hands. - Be aware that even if the incoming missile or drone is intercepted, falling debris represents a significant risk. - After the attack, stay away from any debris, and monitor major news outlets for official guidance.

Got it - AI responses can shift slightly based on exact wording or context each time. But nailing it down: yes, that's a 1991 Gulf War photo from Kuwait, US soldier guarding a surrendering Iraqi POW near a body bag. Old image, reused for the "iconic moment" meme. Sorry for the inconsistency! What was the other reply?
