It’s never been easier to spot if someone bots their content. Biggest tells: > Engagement always similar numbers > Way more likes than comments > Outrageous amount of reposts (most stopped doing this) > Low quality replies > Heavy engagement at the start and quick drop off This is not how the algorithm works.

As much as I love NFTs, I hate the fact that NFT projects get rekt because of teams behind new chains. I’ve seen this happen a lot. Here’s a pattern I’ve been noticing lately: - New chain announcement - Teams support NFT projects pre-TGE/initial launch, which drives a lot of new participants and hype for their chain - Then they disappear out of nowhere and stop providing support once the hype/TGE is live I’ve advised a lot of projects to launch on Ethereum mainnet but they end up launching on new L1/L2/L3 EVM chains with false hope that they’ll get full support from the Team. Result? They fail. Here’s what’s likely to happen in the coming weeks/months: - Most of these projects will bridge from these L1/L2/L3 chains to Ethereum mainnet. Steady Teddys is a clear example of this To projects launching on chains other than Ethereum mainnet: don’t make the mistake of launching a high-potential project elsewhere just because a team promised ‘full support.’ That’s rarely how it plays out. Two examples: 1. GVC is a prime example of success because they pivoted to Ethereum mainnet at the right time. Imagine what would’ve happened if they had launched elsewhere. 2. ApeChain: People are launching collections there not in hopes of getting support from Yuga Labs but because they genuinely believe in it. Also, there are no incentives like XP/points for building or trading everything is organic. Am I saying you shouldn’t launch outside Ethereum mainnet? No. Launch on whatever chain you want but only if you truly believe it benefits the project and community not just the chain. Three days ago, I spoke to two teams over VC and both are launching on other chains hoping for support from the Chain. Trust me, neither will end up doing well. I expect a lot of projects to bridge from other EVM chains to Ethereum mainnet. I’ve spoken to many of them they’re just waiting for the right time to pivot with a plan. To NFT founders: You will be held accountable when all of these chains don’t support you post mint/TGE. In everyone’s eyes, you will be seen as the ruggers not the chain even if you acted in good faith. Just know that it’s never a bad decision to give things a second thought. We’re human and we all make mistakes but make sure to learn from them and come back stronger. I still believe in NFTs regardless of the chain and will continue to believe in them for life.
