What I mean is if all events that happen in the universe are happening from infinity, then they're not really "happening" (a happening implies a "change" in condition or state which would not be the case with something that is actually infinite. An actually infinite set of events has "happened" but not in a sequence or in a sensually apparent way as you'd expect of finitude). Infinity in mathematics "typically" applies to operational boundaries (e.g division by zero which is considered "undefined". math.stackexchange.com/questions/1411…). In math, infinity refers to an unknown end of line or a terminus in a sufficiently large number line or system (i.e infinity is technically not defined in mathematics because it is not a number). Cantor's growing infinity only makes sense mathematically because the physical universe has hard constraints. So, infinity's disallowing of change is an ontological constraint not necessarily a mathematical one. By "infinite set of equally infinite events", I don't mean anything that might be mathematically special but was simply applying analogy to refer to an infinite universe with an infinite chain of members (which is not possible for a universe with constant change or growth).

"If the universe is an infinite set of equally infinite events, then all events would have been actualized at no decipherable time" What does infinite set of equally infinite events mean? Infinity does not allow for time does it hold in mathematics?

Did you watch the video yourself and think through it? The video doesn't disprove the argument against infinite regress. It makes the point of the argument even though the narrator is trying to argue against the Kalam. We typically split infinity into two types: Actual infinity Potential infinity But this distinction is problematic. A potential infinity is just a ridiculously large chain, not an infinite one. In fact, you may say it is in perpetual finitude. How? Imagine you wanted to create an infinite stack of dollar bills. You pick one bill and then add another and so on till say the one billionth. There are two things happening: 1. There is a state change (an increase in the number of dollar bills is a state change for the stack) 2. You have a stack that stays extensible (i.e you can always add to it to induce a state change) These are characteristics of finite conditions (i.e. they change and are open to change). Infinity has no boundary or terminal point; it is fully actualized. Once there is a starting point, it is an indicator of finitude. If the universe is an infinite set of equally infinite events, then all events would have been actualized at no decipherable time (since time is a measure of change and infinity allows for no change).

No, he's right. You're an incompetent idiot who needs a hatch from their moral blameworthiness, so you outsource your freedom to systems that have almost little power on your choice set. Face it! You're no victim; you only possess enough power to wield excuses because you are not honest enough to look your own failure in the eye.

@Realkaycee16 Right because something that predates you suddenly stops mattering because some bot on an app said so lmao. You're chasing intelligence and it's outpaced you years ago.

You sidestep a nuance. What is it about not being married that bothers them? If marriage wasn't a necessary component to sustaining your lineage according to prestigious institutions (e.g. religion), then most of us would forego it (I know I would). If you think men are bothered about doing life alone, then they could easily seek out other forms of companionship that are equally emotionally satisfactory. An exclusive coital union is the only special component in marriage.

Unbothered ke? When they are alone they are bothered like madddd! You can l!e to everyone but you can’t l!e to yourself.

@PsychMove @Jaydon225 You are bold to think I care about what you want to see. You're not in my face enough to merit the block option. My reaction is an expression of innate freedom and I feel sorry for those who invested in your education that you do not grasp that at surface level.

@java_warrior @Jaydon225 So who told you that I want to see your amused reaction? I don't wanna see it,and if you are so weak minded that you can't keep your reaction to yourself, you can use the mute or block option.

Quite interesting how I hardly think about religion or religious arguments nowadays. I'm sure I'd lose a theological debate if I engaged in one now because I've been so out of touch with the 'field'. I couldn't care less nowadays. 😄
