@johncrossmirror If Stach takes a touch before shooting it's a stonewall penalty so why isn't it just because he shoots? Middle of midfield if you play it crossfield then get wiped out like that it's the most obvious yellow card ever.

I remember my Dad saying to me in 2010 to watch as many Barcelona games and as much of Messi as I possibly could for these years, because we'll look back and wish we were there for every minute of him on a football pitch.
15 years on, after catching as many of the Sunday evening 4/5/6-0 trouncings of unfortunate Spanish clubs as I could, and too much money on obscure Spanish broadcasting subscriptions, I'm extremely thankful for that pointer 😂

LFC have won every game in the PL with Florian Wirtz starting as an out and out ten in LFC’s usual 4-2-3-1.
We beat Arsenal, Newcastle and Bournemouth in those games. Arne then proceeded to drop him and move him around.
Played as a lw/10 vs Palace.
Played as a rw OOP vs Brentford.
Played as a Lw vs Man City.
We brought on Gakpo second half vs Palace and played Wirtz as an out and out 10 and were much better.

On the “Civil Wor” at Newcastle, maybe if Liverpool had acted earlier and offered a proper fee for Alexander Isak, a world-class centre-forward with three years left on his contract, Newcastle would have had time and funds to bring in a suitable replacement. £110m was disrespectful to Newcastle (and Isak). And who are Newcastle going to get at this late stage of the window with suitable targets moved elsewhere? Yoane Wissa is not like for like. Newcastle need two anyway with Callum Wilson gone. It’s very easy to see why Newcastle and their proud, tough owners who don't like losing - or losing face - are playing hard-ball and determined to keep Isak. The saga continues. #NUFC #LFC

They've strangled the life out of any chance of Isak reintegrating because of their own ego.
They've also sent an awful message to potential new signings.
This is why they're signing shit like Ramsdale and Thiaw.
