@CHarwood1810 I think we need to be realistic. Too 6 will be a very good result this season with champions league and change in squad dynamic.

@NUFC_room Don’t disagree with that squad is pretty strong top 4 will be tough but we look the best of the rest along with spurs now they have a proper manager - hopefully lost points won’t bite later in season

Whatever the noise around the deal, what matters now is he’s a very good, accomplished player. Yes, the fee feels heavy, but going into a Champions League season it’s exactly the kind of signing we need. @NUFC_room It’s a 10/15 million overpay but he’s got a good record & I’d rather overpay than walk away & be left with a hole in the squad - 9/10 window for me I’d liked to have traded up willock for el khanouss or a similar profile player - overall great business if not a little slow
