@DrFrankTurek He does. We choose to sin. By withholding saving grace from some ppl, God isn’t unjust for allowing ppl to continue doing the things that they really want to do. Rebellion has always been our choice. Grace has always been at His discretion and will.

@LilithBlack25 God, who is love, created us for Himself, to bless us, & the first man Adam disobeyed His command and brought sin into the world. And the wages of sin is death. God is not unjust for killing sinners. We’re unjust for sinning against a perfect, righteous, good, and holy God.

@slumbles @GryphiusEitel @BrysonGray What you’re doing is isolating a text from its immediate context. And from the entire theology of grace that clearly taught in other parts of the New Testament

@slumbles @GryphiusEitel @BrysonGray Meaning, faith doesn’t save, but it is an indication of saving fath because if you claim to be saved, but good works don’t follow, then that faith is dead. Meaning you don’t have it. Another way of saying that you will know a tree by its fruits.

@DominusAD78 @rockreborn22 @BrysonGray The text also doesn’t mention the trinity, but God clearly revealed Himself as 3 distinct, co eternal, persons as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Exegesis. Just because it doesn’t state plainly something, that didn’t mean that the scriptures doesn’t teach it within the scriptures.

@rockreborn22 @BrysonGray Ephesians 2 doesn’t say “faith alone.” That word isn’t even in the text. You added it. All you prots cut the passage off. Keep reading. You’re saved by grace through faith… for good works (v.10).

A person is not justified before God by faith alone. That’s according to James in the only verse out of 31,000 verses in Bible that actually says the phrase “faith alone”.

@BrysonGray James never said that. What he is saying is that if you have real saving faith, your good works will confirm it. The works can’t save you, but the absence of them indicates that you probably aren’t saved.

@piersmorgan Meanwhile Jews that own record labels can promote violence, drug use, and sexual dysfunction to black people through rap music, but I don’t ever hear you saying that’s problematic.

@peegzy1 That verse refers to the spiritual death, and the eternal judgement that unrepentant sinners will endure upon dying in their sins.

@QuincyAvery Jesus dying on the cross for our sins was God’s judgement against sin. Respectfully, unbelievers love saying what Jesus did while never even reading or studying the scriptures to actually know what he did.

So if Jesus is the focus why do Christians spend so much energy condemning things that aren’t the focus. Jesus didn’t judge but I see so many Christians full of so much judgement. Doesn’t track for me.
Dusty Stanfield@DStanfieldIAM

@QuincyAvery The MOST IMPORTANT thing in the Bible is Jesus. Period. The whole Bible is the story of Jesus. That’s the starting point and the proper context. The Old Testament is the story of why Jesus is and always was necessary.

@_fels1 Acts 8:26-40 Would like a word. Philip the evangelist converted an Ethiopian eunuch who was on his way back from Jerusalem where he went to worship. This happened around AD 31. This is actual history. You iust can’t say anything and pass it off as truth.
