@petryan As someone that grew up in Qld footy pathways it’s great to see the quality. The hard sell is how it continues given the footy consumer does not understand how you get access to that level of draft talent & land Petracca while still giving 2 top 10 picks as well…

Good luck to Gold Coast and Brisbane and it's a long season and they have done the work and made good calls but they have so much talent they could create a third Qld team combining leftovers any given week and it would be competitive in the AFL

@cleary_mitch @7NewsMelbourne Mitch I have been involved in community football for over 12yrs, gaps in age groups, not being able to field 19s and lack of numbers is all too prevalent in my experience. Very sad this happening at community level.

@FreoPope @tommorris32 1 player crumbing a ball inside D50, hitting 2 targets lace out at full speed and then the ability to hit a running torp from outside 50m after sprinting 200m… I will tune in to see Freo do this.

@mpask @tommorris32 Freo regularly get fat side fast break goal opportunities. We often fluff them at the key moment, but the chances are there if he defence doesn't hold their width.

@BGNHoops Spacing - having a 5 that can shoot from 3 has provided much more opportunities for players to get the rim or cut to find shots.

Clippers went 5-0 in the 5 games Zubac missed. He came back from injury today and the Clippers lost, ending their winning streak. Is he the problem?

@MichaelVaughan I would love to see the stats on the catching this series - the drop catches by Eng & what it correlates to with runs they chase vs Aust converting half chances into catches. This series could have been so much different if Eng held their catches

@APH00PS Still a very strange decision to trade Powell for a PF in Collins who hasn’t claimed the starting spot until the 2nd month of the season( plays 23min in double OT) … Good trade only for a starting dominant 4 - which is clearly still not the case.

@FlyByKnite Unfortunately all the names on paper & “the sacrifice of playing time” we heard in offseason - it hasn’t come to fruition - Beal mins have really hurt as a starter, should be off bench v 2nd unit. Collins obvious PF choice but role off bench?

@LAClippersMuse I think what’s lost in all of this and unless you are a Clippers fan you don’t grasp it we actually attracted THE REINING FINALS MVP to pick the Clippers - this has never been possible. It isn’t the worst trade of all time. It has now put us on a different path as an organisation
