Employees are not the only ones who generate value, and i say that as an employee. Labor gets paid to do tasks, they don't get to claim all the downstream value after getting paid generous salaries. No profit, no companies, no jobs.

Secondly his employees generate the products and labor that generate any profit. Throwing money at things isnt "proving useful services". Dig deeper. Labor does that.

@patternote @spinfisher OMB data - don’t forget legacy costs. (Military is split between mandatory and discretionary spend buckets). We should be paid back every penny paid into SS and Medicare with interest - that’s why I removed them from the equation/ratio.

If the US eliminated defense spending except for basic defense, the US would pay off its 31 trillion dollars debt in the time of a typical home mortgage.

Doesnt include out of pocket expenses etc. We have the most personal medication debt of every developed nation for a reason
