The first time a Vietnamese navy vessel has visited any Western country. Baby steps maybe but shows the role that Australia and multilateral exercises can play in drawing Vietnam out and encouraging it to play a more outward looking role on regional security.

Ukraine should serve as a wake-up call to re-evaluate the purpose and pace of existing munition control systems and move them to the pace we will need—before we need it.

@WWATMD No. To confuse would be to understand that the latter is possible (or dare I say, required). We think deterrence is a seasoning to be sprinkled over an otherwise unrelated, and military-only, action.
