We can always have questions but there are so many people that conclusively state it was fake yet the facts on the ground make way more sense than all the things necessary for a conspiracy. The incident cleared quickly from shots fired to assassin killed. Everyone has a job to do and these guys are to escort him and basically act as shields. At least that’s my understanding.

Apparently according to people like @David_J_Bier the fault lies with not tracking the guy down after being released.
