@VK_RAMACHANDRAN @jcrajan00 Congress left the country with the burden of Oil bonds worth 3 lakh because they wanted to keep the fuel prices low or they get voted out. The last tranche of oil bonds was cleared some 3 months back in Jan 2026 if I remember.

India kept fuel prices frozen for 14 months straight. Petrol, diesel, LPG — not a single revision despite crude whipsawing between $65 and $95. Most countries cannot do this without blowing up their fiscal. India pulled it off because of one thing nobody talks about: refining capacity. We are now the world's fourth-largest refiner. 254 MTPA capacity. Our refineries process crude 15-20% cheaper than global benchmarks because of scale and complexity. Reliance's Jamnagar alone does 1.4 million barrels a day — more than most OPEC countries produce. In the 2008 oil shock, India had to issue Rs 1.4 lakh crore in oil bonds because we could not absorb the price spike. In 2026, with a bigger crisis in West Asia, we absorbed it without bonds, without subsidies blowing up, and without passing the cost to consumers. The difference is 18 years of refining investment. We doubled capacity, upgraded to complex refineries that handle heavier crude, and diversified sourcing away from the Gulf. Refining is not glamorous. Nobody tweets about it. But it is the reason your petrol bill did not go up this year.

A party doesn't need 118 MLAs to swear in. We are looking at the worst case scenario of governor rule, YET tvk is refusing to speak up against governor stating this.

A single party rule like Singapore with a strong leader and administration can clean up all the filth. The current system doesn't work for people

K. Stalin often argue that Udhayanidhi Stalin received rapid elevation due to family background. At the local level, every politician will naturally try to help their children enter politics. That’s normal in every democracy. But CM, PM, Deputy CM, or top ministerial positions should never look inherited. Those roles should be earned through governance, elections, administration, and public leadership. One reason many people respect BJP’s structure is that even powerful leaders’ children usually don’t get immediate top-level elevation. Examples: • Pankaj Singh, son of Rajnath Singh, built a state-level political career rather than getting instant national leadership. • Jay Shah, son of Amit Shah, became influential in cricket administration rather than being projected directly as a political successor. • Dushyant Singh, son of Vasundhara Raje, remained largely within electoral politics without instant elevation to top executive leadership. India needs competition of ideas, not competition of surnames.

We don't eat beef. The once in Jadavpur and South Kolkata who do , if their parents come to know they will hang him inverted and skin him alive and then disown the body. This is not kerala, let's get that straight. We do eat pork though a lot of it. Your secular friends may join in to shown secularism.
