@ben_benjamin3 @virginmedia Same happened with my in-laws. New contract included a SIM they said they didn't need and channels they won't watch. A nightmare to change - long queue waiting time and then couldn't get a decent answer out of the operator at the other end. Really unimpressed

Missed this a few days ago, but this is correct from the CEO of Lloyds Bank on the underlying strengths of the UK economy: "Real wages rising, household savings at their highest levels for decades, and consumers and businesses continuing to reduce their indebtedness. About 60 per cent of households strengthened their financial position last year."

@NufcBryan @SangitaMyska I agree - I don't think he is in a good place. As any parent knows, there are things which you wish you had done differently and I'm sure David and Victoria are no different. To have it aired in public though and with some obvious exaggeration - they must be devastated

My daughter told me that a person we know makes her feel uncomfortable.
You know what I DIDN’T say to her?
“Be kind to them.”
No. I told her to trust her instincts.
I explained that girls and women have a unique instinct that helps them to identify possible predators.
Enough with the faux empathy.
In our attempts to be “inclusive,” we have put our daughters at risk.
Teach them to trust their instincts.
