@grahamboree @Mrt3D Well they tried to and Apple pretty much won. Afterwards I didn't see hundreds of game studios band together and start to block Apple services, or boycott the app store, everyone just moved on. Now Unity is "greedy" while Epic also just had layoffs, some of them friends of mine.

@Sven_Viking Appreciate you! Im digging around for some more info on the tos changes on git, Im in Istanbul for the GIST conference so a little tough time zone wise and being surrounded by 100,000+ gamers with a ton of questions Lol Lots of passionate devs and players here in Turkey.

@Sven_Viking All I can say is that some tough lessons were learned and we never want to go through something like this again. It’ll take time but hopefully we win back your trust.

@unity3dmarks Paying both a per-seat subscription and revshare isn’t ideal but overall the changes look quite reasonable. My question is why we should think the new ToS protections won’t die in the dark like the previous ToS protections? This new ToS promise is the same as the old broken one.

@unity The new fees seem reasonable and well-thought-out, at least from my perspective. Of course, I can't speak for others who might have different licensing expectations. Nice pivot, Unity. Now you'll need to address TOS changes to rebuild that trust.
