He struggled with picking me up with the slickness of the bag and awkwardness of the weight. Dead weight is very heavy, and remember, rigor (stiffness) sets in in 2 to 4. D4vd is 5'3-4" - a little guy. It would have been very difficult for him to lift her if she was not dismembered. Further, no chance to get her in the bag without being dismembered. And no way for her to fit on the frunk without being dismembered. Her dismemberment was not a matter of decay. Her dismemberment was not a matter of malice.
