The defense never raised chain of custody concerns, which they absolutely would have done in an effort to get that evidence thrown out. That was their only chance to win. This would have been one of the major things they would have focused on in the months prior to trial. They never touched it. There's a reason for that, lol.

What a fucking dumbass. Zero chain of custody issued with the sheath. The defense challenged everything they could, but never made an argument there. This is coming from Whitcomb’s book, lol. Conflating IGG with STR testing. As for the 2x data, that was part of the FBI’s process (IGG) so they could utilize different databases. That has nothing to do with the sheath DNA that was directly compared to Kohberger after arrest, using standard STR testing. The DNA matches Kohberger to the exclusion of 5.37 octillion people. “The dna also matched workers at the PA sheath factory.” 😂😂😂 KA-Bar sheaths are made in Mexico, and the only way the sheath DNA could match a sheath factory worker, is if that worker was Kohberger’s identical twin brother. He does not have one. And no one knew about the murders at 9am, lol. I’d love to see the court document that says this. Of course there isn’t one, because all of this is completely made up. #idaho4

@CrimeJusticePod It's amazing he could misinterpret them that badly then. Shocking really. Unless all his inaccuracies were intentional? Othram getting the DNA before it was uploaded to CODIS, sheath on the floor when even the defense says it was on the bed, etc etc. Embarrassing.

@RealMassguy That is 4 cars in the same apartment complex doing unusual things at unusual times at the scene of a horrific crime. This is all speculation of course, but I bet I could walk a jury through this in addition to the audio/video and create reasonable doubt. This is all just opinion

After watching the new Idaho4 documentary on Netflix, I felt it was aimed at a broad audience with basic knowledge of the case, yet offered little new for those of us who followed it closely. No new revelations or anything - not that I was expecting any. It's very victim centered, and has more of a focus on the healing process as opposed to the investigation itself. Definitely worth it if you're emotionally invested in this case, but skip it if you're looking for investigative depth. #kohberger

They really are. Her friend is a former teacher who is involved with the church. Her son has autism but is high functioning. They both take really good care of her. I just can't believe the turn her life has taken in the past few weeks. From sure death in a nursing home to this.

Like, sure he’d lie about motive and things like that, but he could tell you the preparations he made, the things he purchased, how he planned this, why he chose this house, when he realized the sheath was missing, exactly how the crime occurred, how he avoided leaving DNA behind/taking it with him, where he disposed of evidence, etc etc. If Thompson was going to give Kohberger a deal, he should have been required to sit for an interview, a polygraph to verify, a written narrative confession, and Kohberger should have been required to lead them to evidence if it was retrievable (unlikely). Thompson took the easy way out because he’s as risk averse as it gets. I’d say coward.

@Ali3n_Vi3 @RealMassguy It's a mystery why they didn't push for allocution. Thompson has said it's because Kohberger would've lied. But even lies would come back into play with this new petition.

Kohberger's new court-appointed attorney Greg Rauch tells Fox News Digital he hasn't read the petition, the case file or even spoken to Kohberger yet. He was just appointed this morning and expects to speak with Kohberger over the phone in the near future and then visit him in prison to talk face-to-face.

@RealMassguy I don’t love that the FBI took over DNA on 12/10. Pulled BK over twice for “tailgating” on 12/15 lol. Then got a match on 12/19 Idk where his knife is. Maybe he just lost it Let’s just ignore all the activity around that house that you can see with your OWN eyes
