@AVARY @elon Difficult to imagine audiences relating to AI generated characters. People like their "stars" - and stars open films. Hard to imagine GLADIATOR with Dale Snerks in the lead role or Eyes Wide Shut with Joe Sixpack and Dorothy Farktard in the lead

I couldn't agree more. And honestly, we may get a better version because of it... sooner rather than later. I also wouldn't be surprised if, once Nolan's Odyssey hits home entertainment, fans use AI tools to create alternate cuts that correct, or lean harder into, the cultural and period authenticity... what I call IP integrity... even when the source material comes from ancient Greek literature. Just as fans already create edits, restorations, and recuts today, I can easily imagine people modifying costumes, armor, architecture, languages, and other elements to more closely reflect their vision of Bronze Age Greece and Homeric mythology. And dub it the “corrected cut.” What excites me isn't just the technology itself, but the fact that we're rapidly approaching a world where talented filmmakers, writers, artists, historians, archaeologists, and subject-matter experts won't need a $200 million studio budget to bring their vision to life. Heck we’re already there. For the first time, audiences may be able to choose between competing interpretations of the same story rather than being limited to a single studio-approved version. And some of those versions are going to be truly epic.

Agreed, I pitched an idea to him in late 2023, XTV. I like your StudioX idea/name too, there can be both. One to make the content and one to host the content. The XSpaces infrastructure already exists for content hosting. There needs to be a place to air the absolute explosion of AI Video content coming. I even gave him a very detailed programming schedule for each day of the week with multiple genres, a list of talent I would green light (a couple of dozen entertaining but yet unknown creators across youtube and other platforms for starters). There can be pre-recorded content or LIVE streamed content on XSpaces. Like you, I suggested bringing in seasoned entertainment people and some unknown outliers (myself included of course). I put a couple of months work into the idea. btw brother, that's not Elon's X handle. His has his full name.

@AVARY @AmandaMilius @elon How cool if the first AI blockbuster that begins the destruction of woke Hollywood slop is based on the first major work of Western Civilization? Fitting

@AVARY @elon Indeed! I think Mr Musk should start a Film Fund or studio where us filmmakers can apply for funding with meritocracy as the ultimate criterion. In Australia it's impossible to get govt funding unless you prove you are an oppressed gender/racial/sexual minority . 😂

@AVARY @elon Would he do that, since he cares more about ability than notability? Notability can = ability, but it isn’t required when no one checks the “created by” before watching a viral video their friend sent them. What separates most creators is practice. Now all can practice unlimited.

@AVARY @elon Once AI can capture my live acting performances and translate them onto a character, and solve spacial-consistency, I want to sit in a room by myself and make feature films, where I write, direct, and play most characters. DM ME dude! ☺️

If you want to fix Hollywood, Notable filmmakers are not necessarily the solution there are many film versions of the Odyssey some more accurate to the story some less so BTW the battle of Troy is more part of The Iliad The Odyssey is the sequel the journey home So first lets get the source material right and the story true to the source which leads to the next part this is ore than one movie could easily be a good GOT style series

I asked @Grok Imagine to make a trailer for the most insane, pulpy, incredible 1980s sword-and-sorcery movie that should’ve existed but never did. Grok did not disappoint. Here is SWORDBOW.
