What the hell have we come to with this? Tell me again how VAR has improved the game?!

I agree with comments that to some degree the game & media has brought this on itself through micro-inspection of refereeing. Never wanted VAR myself but plenty did. Now that we can see the result, I fear it’s too late to turn back. But we should!

@AlanBiggs1 To be fair Alan the decision was 100% correct. Haaland outpaced Szobeszlai and would have had a simple tap in but was pulled back. Szobeszlai then went in front of Haaland and Haaland fouled him. Pretty standard decision.

@AlanBiggs1 The most ridiculous decision of the season so far. Not one supporter of either side would have disallowed that goal and sent off the Liverpool player. VAR is killing the excitement and the enjoyment of the moment. It was far more enjoyable in the championship without VAR.

@AlanBiggs1 You mean by actually making a correct call, yes how stupid of VAR to show two fouls were committed. Yes VAR is frustrating but that was an 100% correct call if not a little bizarre.
