Today has been the hottest day in May on record with Kew Gardens provisionally reaching 34.8°C - exceeding the previous highest May temperature in the UK by a full 2 degrees Celsius🌡️ This heat would be exceptional in the UK even in mid summer, let alone in May📈

There should be plenty of questions about the governance and spending control of the SNP. Did no one notice £400,000 of wrongful spending, expense claims without goods and services arriving for the party? Who checked, paid and audited claims?

No doubt @HMRC can expect an explanation on hubby’s P11d tax return which should have included all benefits in kind taken legally or illegally. The whole political system appears bent.

So let me get this right. We are led to believe that the holier than thou, Nicola Sturgeon, knew nothing about £400k being embezzled from party funds including a camper van parked on her mother’s drive. To take £400k from party funds smacks of a lack of financial controls.

The Peter Murrell/SNP embezzlement trial begins in Edinburgh today. It has taken Police Scotland and the Procurator Fiscal Service five years investigation and process — at a cost of >£2m — to get to here. All for a £1/2m embezzlement charge.

🚨🇬🇧 BREAKING: its been revealed that Andy Burnham snapped up an ex council flat in Kennington for just £215,000 in 2005 while serving as an MP. He then happily billed taxpayers for the mortgage interest payments because the rules let him get away with it. That same flat is now worth 480000 to 500000 pounds and he rents it out while insisting the income barely covers his costs and he makes no profit. Yet this is the same man demanding rent freezes council housing takeovers and lower rents for ordinary people. Pure hypocrisy from a classic Westminster grifter feathering his own nest on the back of the system he loves to lecture everyone else about.

Why does the Tory media not report them?
