@LynAldenContact Not betting against elon. Good luck getting on that train.
English

@AlgorithmMD What deficit level do you think he’ll reach by July 4, 2026, the targeted end of DOGE?
English

From my perspective the question comes from a different angle. Do I think Elon will fail to deliver because there is no solution? Its hard to believe that, especially when he’s catching rockets mid-air. Endeavoring to engineer the “impossible” seems to be his specialty, and well thats the strongest argument I can offer.
English

@AlgorithmMD @LynAldenContact Welp, looks like he couldn’t quite engineer the impossible on this one
English

@AlgorithmMD @LynAldenContact catching rockets is easier than cutting spending. once you do that, something he will try, some people get very angry.
English

@AlgorithmMD @LynAldenContact Catching rockets is easier than containing US spending problem particularly when the whole financial system requires continuous growth of debt, it fails if the the train dosent keep going and picking up speed.
English

@AlgorithmMD @LynAldenContact If you look at the federal budget you can’t cut a trillion dollars without cutting entitlements and social programs that actually save the government money. Only way to cut significantly is in the military budget and they won’t touch that so it’s mostly theater.
English

@AlgorithmMD @LynAldenContact This isn't an engineering project. This is a project that he has demonstrated time and again he has no self efficacy in. Nor did Vivek. I can provide examples for you.
English

@AlgorithmMD @LynAldenContact Turns out that engineering problems are way harder than bureocracy problems. And knowing nothing about how government works doesn't help...
English

@AlgorithmMD @LynAldenContact This is a red herring. A person can be an excellent engineer and produce great products and yet can't do anything when it comes to the government. Yes you CAN bet against Elon when it's not about HIM, it's about hundreds of millions of people involved.
