@BatmanRouges People think Snyder is a goat Batman writer bc he wrote a run that was 1. accessible and 2. modern but it's lowkey overrated outside of a couple arcs. Snyder also has a few writing tics that really grate on me if I read too much of his stuff

@BatmanRouges I like Scott too, but I didn't like his original Batman run. A lot of his ideas sounded cooler in the concept stage than in execution. Court of Owls good example: "natural enemies of bat are owls, how about...?" sounds great, but a cadre of old rich people are a boring villain.
