I hear the same from friends and former students who own manufacturing operations in China. One friend in chemical manufacturing told me recently that he has finally achieved his goal of selling 100% of his output abroad (Europe and the Middle East), which he had been trying to do because it was impossible to sell domestically except at a loss.
