@CodeRed_dev right tool for the right job i guess. gdscript takes some time to get used to but there isn’t really a drawback on c# (at least on desktop)
English

@CodeRed_dev People actually use C# for Godot
That’s wild
But you’ll barely see any tutorial on that
English

@CodeRed_dev I just switched to C# and I don’t think I’m going back! Better support for types, array functions, lambdas, code formatting 🤤
English

@CodeRed_dev Ahh man, it’s kind of the question when you just started in game dev and asking in groups if should use Unreal or Unity, I had experience in Unity and C# but I’m using GDscript, and the only thing I’m missing is extension methods xD
English

@CodeRed_dev I prefer GDScript because I'm a total noob to C# and I just like the ease of GDScript.
English

@CodeRed_dev I haven't used Godot yet, but I picked C# because I have used C# and I like it. :D
English

@CodeRed_dev I prefer C# but I honestly don't mind using GDScript. I might go back to C# once 4.2 is completely out, depending on how much is improved.
English

@CodeRed_dev The answer is whatever you and your crew are comfortable with.
English

@CodeRed_dev As someone who came to Godot from Unity, I prefer GDScript for using Godot. I do miss a few features from C# but that hole is filled by how awesome GDScript is.
English

@CodeRed_dev a proprietary language is never the better option I am more than happy to die on that hill.
Have some issues with C# fine choose ANY OTHER general-purpose language and go with it.
Just DO NOT create yet another proprietary language to further muddy your stack
