Generating and distributing treasure in a procedurally generated open-world game is a non-trivial problem. You have to carefully balance game difficulty as well as player dopamine hits.

Getting around to creating NPCs can seem daunting, but once I jump into it I get wrapped up in popping them out!

Since people liked my Donkey Kong painting, I figured I'd share my Castlevania one too. This is 36x24. I had always wanted a giant pixel painting for my wall. I made this between jobs and when I had a week to myself. Took about 40 hours to paint.
